Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Before you call, you might find an answer here quickly:

What can I expect when I call?

Our friendly staff will listen to your situation, explain how we can help, and if you wish, schedule an appointment with a social worker. It's confidential and there is no pressure.

Do I need an appointment?

It is highly recommended to call first to ensure a social worker is available to see you. Walk-ins are accepted during office hours but may face a wait.

Is there a fee for your services?

No. Our counselling and casework services are provided free of charge.

What should I bring for my first appointment?

Please bring your NRIC/Passport and any relevant documents (e.g., child's birth certificate). Our staff will inform you if anything else is needed.

Is everything I share kept private?

Yes, confidentiality is our strict standard. Information is only shared in specific legal circumstances (e.g., risk of harm) or with your consent to coordinate with other services.
